Progress Report: URMC Equity and Anti-Racism Action Plan

In June 2020, URMC leadership committed to developing and implementing a comprehensive equity and anti-racism plan for the medical center, incorporating input from faculty, staff, and students. The Equity and Anti-Racism Action Plan outlines a five-year strategy to begin to create a more equitable system. During this session, two speakers will present highlights of the progress in the areas of health equity education and health equity research. A new health equity education curriculum framework will be shared including the results of the initial pilot cohort. The new Office of Health Equity Research will be discussed, including the goals and research agenda.
