First Year Fellows and Research Ambassadors are co-hosting this event for students to learn how to find research opportunities, reach out to potential mentors, and begin their UR research experience.  It starts with an information session from 6:00-6:30pm in SueB's Friel Lounge from the Office of Undergraduate Research that covers research-related resources available to all undergraduates.  This overview will be immediately followed by discipline-specific breakout rooms in Friel Lounge, Harper Lounge, and the Media Room, that will be staffed by experienced First Year Fellows and Research Ambassadors. 

From 6:30-8:00pm, students may drop in to the breakout rooms that will be designated as follows:

• Life Sciences in Friel Lounge
• Physical Sciences and Engineering & Math in the Media Room
• Social Sciences and Humanities in Harper Lounge.

Experienced researchers from the First Year Fellows and the Research Ambassadors will be available to answer your questions one-on-one or in small groups.  Bring a friend and get your research questions answered by those who are experienced!
