Robert Varon has been on the Rochester music scene as a freelancer for several years now, specializing in jazz and rock styles. He is currently attending the Eastman School of Music as an undergraduate for a Jazz Guitar BM degree.
Gavin Gray is a bassist from West Hartford, Connecticut. In high school, Gavin was an assistant principal in the All Nationals Symphony Orchestra, a National YoungArts Jazz winner, recipient of the Essentially Ellington Outstanding Bassist award, and a member of the 2019 Vail Jazz Workshop, where he had the opportunity to study with the great John Clayton. Gavin has had the opportunity to perform with artists such as Christian McBride, Ingrid Jensen, Marshall Gilkes, Sherman Irby, Ted Nash, Elliot Mason, the New York Voices, Alexa Tarantino, and others. This past summer, he performed at the Jazz at Aspen Snowmass festival in Aspen, Colorado. He currently attends Eastman School of Music for Jazz and Contemporary Media Studies and frequently performs in the Rochester area.
