ROC CITY SPEAKS, created and directed by artist Rashaad Parker, delivers an anti-media narrative that allows news from the street to be disseminated without a slanted angle. It provides a platform for each individual's opinions and perspectives to be represented unabridged. People can share their real stories and experiences here.

In this episode of ROC CITY SPEAKS, the news from the streets comes from the voices of international students alongside those from the United States currently studying at the University of Rochester.

With this being an election year of unprecedented political importance, the views on these issues from some of the University of Rochester's brightest minds are both timely and insightful.

The event is open to all and refreshments will be provided. Seating is limited.
