The Division of Collaborative Care and Wellness, Department of Psychiatry is pleased to announce that Henry Chung, MD, Vice President of Care Management Organization of Montefiore Medical Center and Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine will deliver the keynote address at the 3rd annual Rochester Behavioral Health Integration Symposium. In partnership with Activity Director, George Nasra, MD, MBA, Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, URMC, this year’s symposium will discuss the escalating costs for the healthcare of adults with behavioral disorders are unsustainable.  In response to rising expenditures, health care systems and insurers are now being incentivized to develop new innovative approaches to the delivery and financing of care.  These approaches include development of new behavioral health care models in which reimbursement will increasingly be based on the quality and outcomes of care delivered.  The focus of this symposium will be on behavioral health integration into medical service lines with a particular attention to Telepsychiatry and other technological advancements in the field.
