Two-dimensional statistical and quantum field theories are special in many ways. One striking instance of this is the equivalence of certain bosonic and fermionic fields, known as bosonization. I will review this correspondence, first in the simplest instance of massless free fields. I will then present results with Scott Mason and Christian Webb about the massless sine-Gordon model, which is one of the basic models in 2d quantum field theory.
