Romanell-Phi Beta Kappa Lecture: Argument & Public Discourse

Richard Feldman, professor of philosophy. 

A variety of misunderstandings and confusions get in the way of using discussions with others to arrive at reasonable beliefs. This talk will explore some of them: the goals of argumentation, the value of having no opinion, and the distinction between facts and opinions.
