Meghan Underhill-Blazey, PhD, APRN, FAAN, assistant professor at the School of Nursing, and nurse practitioner at the Wilmot Cancer Institute Hereditary Cancer Program will present on "Preliminary results and experiences with the FRAME study: Familial Cancer Risk Assessment & Mindfulness Education."
The specific aim of this presentation is to describe the development and preliminary evaluation of a psychoeducational intervention for individuals with inherited cancer risk, starting with those that have inherited pancreatic cancer risk.
A description of the significance, development, content and preliminary enrollment outcomes and participant-reported experience will be described both qualitatively and quantitatively.
