Jillian Velekkakan, LCSW, a clinical social worker at Finger Lakes Occupation Health Services, will present on "Exploring the Impact of Work-Related Injuries on Worker Mental Health."
Velekkakan currently works part-time providing short-term counseling, case management, and outreach services for injured workers. She also works part-time as a group therapist in the Department of Psychiatry at the Child & Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Group.
A lunch of wraps and Greek salad will be provided starting at 12 p.m., followed by the presentation from 12:10-12:40, leaving time for questions and discussion.
The School of Nursing Clinical & Research Grand Rounds seeks to engage faculty, staff, students, and other members of the healthcare community by presenting topics related to the research process as well as current research topics at the School of Nursing.
