Science and Sustainability Seminar: Health Consequences of Shale Gas Development

Dr. Elaine Hill, Assistant Professor of Public Health Sciences, URMC, will discuss her research using quasi-experimental methods to study the impacts of shale gas development on human health in the US. An economist, her research focuses on the intersection between health, health policy, the environment and human capital formation, with an emphasis on the effect of environmental exposures on health.
