About this Event
Each year, the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities hosts the Skirboll Autism and Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Conference. This free 3-day interactive conference offers information sessions presented by national experts on various topics related to autism spectrum disorder. It is developed in collaboration with individuals with disabilities, families, agency representatives, and community members. The event is made possible with support from the Skirboll Family Foundation and the Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (RRCASD)
The 2025 conference focuses on advocacy, thinking towards the future, and disability identity.
This conference has been certified for up to 6 continuing education credits for CME, CNE, NYS Social Work, NYS Psychology, NYS Marriage and Family Therapy, and NYS Mental Health Counselors. These credits are completely free to all attendees and are available for internal (UR) employees and external providers. CME and CNE credits are available to all providers nationwide.
To provide flexibility to each day of the conference has been certified as a separate activity. You can attend as many days as you like. If you want to receive credit for a day of the conference, you must attend all the program sessions for that entire day. Please indicate what credits you are interested when you register for the conference. If you are planning on hosting a viewing party, we ask that all interested attendees still register so we have your contact information to send you the evaluation links after the conference.
Continuing Education Certification Statements for each day can be found on the Skirboll Sessions and Speakers page, along with more information with the presenters and panelists.
