DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities ho
 sts the Skirboll Autism and Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD)
  Conference.  This free 3-day interactive conference offers information ses
 sions presented by national experts on various topics related to autism spe
 ctrum disorder. It is developed in collaboration with individuals with disa
 bilities\, families\, agency representatives\, and community members. The e
 vent is made possible with support from the Skirboll Family Foundation and 
 the Rochester Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (RRCASD)\n\n \n\
 nThe 2025 conference focuses on advocacy\, thinking towards the future\, an
 d disability identity.\n\n \n\nDay 1: Taking Back Control: Heart\, Body\, a
 nd Mind| Wednesday\, November 5th\, 2025 | 1:00pm-3:30pm- Sessions about sy
 stems navigation and advocacy across multiple sectors and combating burnout
  (2 CE Credits Available) Day 2: What’s Next? Looking Forward to the Future
 | Thursday\, November 6th\, 2025 | 1:00pm-3:30pm- Sessions about transition
 ing medical care from pediatrics to adulthood and financial future planning
  for people with disabilities. (2 CE Credits Available)\n Day 3: Understand
 ing Who You Are: Learning All of Our Contexts| Friday\, November 7th\, 2025
  | 1:00pm-3:30pm- Sessions devoted to neurodivergent identity development a
 nd building partnerships with Indigenous communities. (2 CE Credits Availab
 le)\n This conference has been certified for up to 6 continuing education c
 redits for CME\, CNE\, NYS Social Work\, NYS Psychology\, NYS Marriage and 
 Family Therapy\, and NYS Mental Health Counselors. These credits are comple
 tely free to all attendees and are available for internal (UR) employees an
 d external providers. CME and CNE credits are available to all providers na
 tionwide. \n\n \n\nTo provide flexibility to each day of the conference has
  been certified as a separate activity. You can attend as many days as you 
 like. If you want to receive credit for a day of the conference\, you must 
 attend all the program sessions for that entire day. Please indicate what c
 redits you are interested when you register for the conference. If you are 
 planning on hosting a viewing party\, we ask that all interested attendees
