The UR Social Impact & Entrepreneurship Program is an opportunity for UR students to spend the fall semester in Washington, DC, learning about social entrepreneurship through courses and cutting-edge internship experiences. Students can intern at local, national & international, governmental agencies, nonprofits or private enterprises. Gain practical social entrepreneurial experience at world-renowned institutions Earn 16 credit hours (a full semester) 8 credit hours of internship experience, and 8 credit hours of coursework. This opportunity can count as a Social Sciences Cluster.
Hear from current students who have completed the program on their experiences in Washington D.C. Also hear from the Program Director, and professor Mike Wohl on the structure of the program and site visits that take place during the semester.
