About this Event
755 Library Road, Rochester, NY 14627
Fancy some tea? Join us in Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation in Rush Rhees Library for short and informal community talks on a variety of rare objects from our collections. Tea and treats will follow every talk.
For the inaugural event, PhD candidate Katelyn Getchel will discuss a 1938 patent for flocking by Rochester-based sportswear company Champion that changed the face of clothing manufacture.
Interested in presenting an object from our collections at a future Spill the Tea? Contact RBSCP director Eric Ensley at eensley@library.rochester.edu.
