"If there is one book Martin Luther King Jr has written that people consistently tell me has changed their lives, it is Strength to Love."-Coretta Scott King

In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's birthday on January 15, join facilitators from the Office of Equity and Inclusion's restorative practices team to read and reflect on excerpts from King's book, Strength to Love

Facilitators will read excerpts from chapter 3 on being a good neighbor and reflect together on questions like:

  • Who is a "neighbor" that you struggle with, at work and elsewhere in your life?  What do you wish you could understand more about them or be understood by them?
  • What step could you take toward them in service of building a more neighborly world and to honor Dr King's legacy?
