The Artistic Flutist: Bonita Boyd International Flute Masterclass

A six-day intensive study featuring daily flute master classes led by legendary Eastman pedagogue Bonita Boyd. Additional guest faculty will include Luke Fitzpatrick (Principal Flute of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Des Moines Metro Opera), and Anne Lindblom Harrow (Eastman School of Music). Flutists will be exposed to a unique and comprehensive curriculum, beginning with a solo recital from Professor Boyd and continuing with intensive study of orchestral excerpts and solo flute repertoire. Participants will attend lectures on the music profession, participate in Flute Choir and flute ensembles, and perform solo repertoire on one of two Participant Concerts at the end of the week.
