About this Event
“Life can be a great performance if you think of yourself as being on stage and seeing every speaking situation as an opportunity to inspire your audience." ~Judith Humphrey '70 (MA)
You are invited to join the University of Rochester’s Women's Network for a virtual afternoon with Judith Humphrey ’70 (MA), founder of The Humphrey Group and author of “Taking the Stage: How Women Can Speak Up, Stand Out and Succeed,” and host Elizabeth (Betsy) Ward ’86.
Judith will share her story of how women can move forward in their careers and gain recognition in their personal lives — by taking the stage. She'll draw on success stories from The Humphrey Group's global Taking the Stage program for women – a program that has reached and changed the lives of well over 600,000 women in the US, Canada, Europe, and all around the world.
Learn how to take your place in the spotlight by developing a confident center-stage mindset, developing a script of empowering language and clear messages, using your voice in compelling ways, and developing strong, confident body language. Speak up, stand out, and succeed in being an inspiring leader.
