Talk on Bipolar Disorder at the Public Library

Laurence Guttmacher, MD, Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Medical Humanities and Director of Residency Education, Department of Psychiatry, will present "Bipolar Disorder 101: Understanding this serious mental health condition." He will help you learn what bipolar disorder is, how it is diagnosed, is there a link between the disorder and creativity, and treatment approaches.

Parking is available in the Court Street garage, which is connected to the library. There will be healthy snacks and a free raffle.

Sponsored by the Center for Community Health & Prevention  at the University of Rochester, in partnership with the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County, as part of the "Got Health" series.  Can't attend? The talk will be streamed live by the Central Library, so you can tune in on Facebook! Please ‘like’ and ‘share’ the broadcast to help us spread the word.
