Monojit Choudhury is a professor of NLP at MBZUAI, Abu Dhabi. Before that, he was a researcher at Microsoft Research India and Microsoft Turing. Prof Choudhury holds a PhD and BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. His research interests include large language models (LLMs), responsible AI, computational ethics, and multilingual and inclusive computing. He is actively involved in organizing the national and International Linguistics Olympiad, and is the founding co-chair of the Asia Pacific Linguistics Olympiad.

He'll be talking about his research on LLMs now that ChatGPT is the buzzword of the year.
