This symposium will feature talks about Taylor Swift, Bob Dylan, and the art of songwriting. Stephanie Burt, an acclaimed poet and scholar from Harvard University, will discuss the music and lyrics of Taylor Swift. Steven Rings, a music theorist from University of Chicago, will discuss the lyrics of Bob Dylan.
