myHub will host a professional development seminar which will feature a career story with Brendaliz Santiago-Narvaez. The session will focus on helping individuals identify skills and tools they have gained from research and applying those to a teaching position. Lunch will be provided.

Participants will understand and gain knowledge on the following questions from attending this session.

• What is the difference between a teaching intensive and research-intensive position?

• What are some of the teaching jobs you may encounter?

• What are some skills you should work on before you apply for the teaching job?

• What are some of the current skills you have as a researcher that can be used towards teaching?

• How can I conduct research in a teaching-intensive position?
