About this Event

https://cglink.me/2eC/r1961856Your cycle is not random - it’s rhythmic.
This workshop explores the four phases of the menstrual cycle and how hormonal shifts can affect energy, mood, focus, and learning. We’ll discuss common menstrual irregularities and cycle-related conditions, and introduce mindfulness practices that support body awareness, stress regulation, and working with, rather than against, your biology. Join us to build cycle literacy, deepen self-understanding, and cultivate a more compassionate, aligned relationship with your body.
The workshop is led by Rishika Kannan. Rishika is working towards a licensure in mental health counseling, she is a certified yoga teacher, and has research interests focused on women's health and wellness. She will be joined by Stephanie Carletta, a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience and a passion for women's health across the lifespan, including hormone-balance, fertility, perinatal and menopausal care.
This workshop is open to all undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff. Join us for an opportunity to connect to your body in a new way. Led by the Mindful University Project.
