The Problem with “Fit”: Overcoming Unconscious Bias in your Recruitment Efforts

Presented by: Zachary Arnold, BA, Director of Recruitment, University of Rochester

This presentation takes a deeper dive into the behavioral interview format and structure.  It will guide participants in exploring the reality of unconscious bias, how it pervades and shapes our definition of the “right fit” and what steps can be taken to overcome it.  Participants will reflect on their own definitions of “fit” and learn appropriate methods to design true behavioral interview questions.

All faculty, fellows, residents, students and staff are welcome!

A light lunch will be provided.
