To all musicians, aspiring podcasters, and anyone interested in making high-quality audio recordings: Attend this session.
In this session will get an orientation and overview of audio recording and podcasting that includes background, theory, and signal flow. You will also receive tours of the Rettner Hall recording facilities and a demonstration of the equipment that you can use in subsequent sessions.
Most importantly, this is a pre-requisite to future specialized sessions on podcasting and general audio recording. After—and only if—you attend this session, you will be able to choose from two tracks:
For those interested in creating their own high-quality podcasts, this two-hour will provide a hands-on experience that covers production, hosting, distribution, promotion, and all pod-related tools and resources.
For those interested in creating high-quality audio recordings, such as a band playing music or someone singing, we are offering two two-hour audio recording sessions that will provide hands-on experience with tools, software, plugins, and other resources you’ll need to produce professional audio recordings.
Both advanced track sessions will be offered starting in summer and/or fall of 2020.
But first, you have to attend the Intro session. Please register to attend.
