Understanding Open Educational Resources

Planning for fall courses and can't find the necessary textbooks in e-format? Open educational resources (OER) can provide a solution that is free of cost and free of barriers.

What exactly are OER and how can you find, adapt, or create and integrate them into your courses? Join River Campus Libraries in this short one-hour workshop to become familiar with options beyond print and e-textbooks.

Please fill out the registration form to attend. The workshop will be held via Zoom; a link will be provided at a later date.

Want to know more before you sign up? See how Jonathan Holz, associate professor of instruction in the Department of Biology, has integrated OER into one of his courses or learn more about River Campus Libraries’ open education services.
