This virtual statewide event aims to accelerate collaboration and increase regional capacity for biomanufacturing and biotechnology through innovative translational research. Those who work in areas such as cell and tissue advanced biomanufacturing, machine learning, chip manufacturing, scaling up & out, or standardization, regulation, & monitoring may be interested in attending.

What is an "Un-Meeting"?

An Un-Meeting is an event without the rules and structure of a traditional conference. Attendees create and drive the agenda and discussions, identifying opportunities for future research, innovation, and collaboration.

Martin S. Zand, MD, PhD, Co-Director of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute, Co-Director of the Center for Leading Innovation and Collaboration, and Director of the Rochester Center for Health Informatics.

Kaiming Ye, PhD, SUNY Distinguished Professor and department chair of Biomedical Engineering and director of the Center of Biomanufacturing for Regenerative Medicine at Binghamton University, State University of New York.

UNYTE, which is organized by the UR Clinical and Translational Science Institute, assists faculty and trainees from member institutions to increase the quality and quantity of translational research in the region.
