In this seminar session, presenters Kevin Fiscella, MD, MPH, James McMahon, PhD, and Reza Yousefi Nooraie, PhD, MD, will introduce the concept of health equity-focused dissemination and implementation (EQ-DI) including why it is important in terms of real-life benefits and funding opportunities. They will review the journey from evidence to dissemination and implementation, and all of the accompanying challenges, processes, and methods. The seminar will conclude with current and “coming soon” CTSA EQ-DI resources and services to support research and practice and a group discussion on the topic.
At the conclusion of this presentation participants should be able to:
1. To recognize the meaning of and the need for equity-Focused Dissemination and Implementation (EQ-DI) Research
2. To become familiar with the journey from evidence to dissemination & implementation, challenges, processes, and methods
3. To identify future CTSA EQ-DI resources and services to support research and practice.
