All are invited to celebrate World Eating Disorders Action Day by attending the virtual book launch for, "Multifamily Therapy Group for Young Adults with Anorexia Nervosa: Reconnecting for Recovery (R4R)." Jennifer McGraw, Daniel Le Grange, and UR School of Nursing's Mary Tantillo, PhD, PMHCNS-BC, FAED, CGP. invite practitioners, individuals in recovery, and family members to learn about R4R and its reframing of Anorexia Nervosa as a disease of disconnection and focus on connection.
Michelle Morales (Western NY Comprehensive Care Center Parent Peer Mentor), Alyssa Morales, LPN (in recovery), and Amy O'Sullivan, MAPP (in recovery) will share their lived experience of multifamily therapy group and why the modality is influentual for young adults with Anorexia and their families.

Directed out of the University of Rochester School of Nursing, the WNYCCCED is a partnership between the University of Rochester School of Nursing and the Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders Program at Golisano Children’s Hospital. It is one of three legislatively mandated comprehensive care centers for eating disorders funded by the New York State Department of Health.
