National Immunization Partnership to Improve HPV Vaccination Rates
Pediatrician Cynthia Rand, MD, MPH, will describe her 5-year experience with the CDC-funded National Immunization Partnership with the Academic Pediatric Association (APA) in which she worked with >200 primary care practices and 50 academic sites to improve HPV vaccination. She will also touch on other aspects of this project, including Grand Rounds, curricula edits, partnerships and APA small grants.
At the conclusion of this presentation participants should be able to:
1. Understand how a Learning Collaborative for a Quality Improvement project is carried out
2. Know how to increase HPV vaccination rates in primary care
3. Consider innovative ways to partner with outside organizations to reach a common goal
