The complexity of schools and school change during the pandemic cannot be overstated. Leadership has been key to understanding what is needed to work for equity and justice in P-12 schools as we build from lessons learned during the pandemic toward a productive start to the 2022-23 school year.

Dr. Shaun Nelms, the William & Sheila Konar Director of the Center for Urban Education Success, Superintendent East High EPO and Associate Professor (Clinical) at Warner, will be joined by school leaders Justin M. Jennings, Education Specialist, Chief Education Officer of Youngstown City School District, and Dr. Sito Narcisse, Superintendent of East Baton Rouge Parish Schools, to discuss the change process and steps forward with some of the country’s top leaders who are situated in urban settings.

The Warner School of Education hosts weekly talks on most Wednesdays during the Spring and Fall Semesters.
