Pushkar Sohoni, an art historian and architect who has published widely on Islamic architecture, Indo-Persian cultural history, early modern trade networks, and numismatics will be lecturing on Indian cities' foundation myths.
Valliyil Govindankutty, a geographer who specializes in cultural heritage conservation will be discussing his efforts to map and conserve medieval hydrology systems in Karnataka, with implications for drought and climate-change resilience.
