Associate Professor Jayne Lammers recently returned from five months spent conducting research on the digital literacy practices of secondary students in Central Java, Indonesia with Puji Astuti '16W, PhD, of Universitas Negeri Semarang. In this lunch talk, she shares what she learned about Indonesian people, culture, and schools, and what she learned about the important role that participating in cultural exchange programs like Fulbright can have on one’s personal growth and academic practice.
Jayne Lammers is Associate Professor of Teaching and Curriculum and Director of English teacher preparation at the Warner School. See also her blog on her Fulbright adventure.
