The Earth’s climate is warming at an unprecedented rate as a result of human activity. How can educators and educational researchers respond to what is quickly becoming an ecological and social crisis? This talk will detail how the educational community is currently engaging climate change, as well as develop areas of future engagement for both practitioners and scholars alike. We will also report on our involvement with fast-moving developments in climate change education that involve AERA, the Spencer Foundation, and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration.
