Find out what your fellow students did for their data science or AI summer internship.  How did they get their internship and what did they do there?  What did they learn and how did it change the way they look at their future career?

Co-hosted by the Goergen Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (GIDS-AI) and the Center of Excellence (CoE) in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, the What I Did on My Summer Internship Panel will feature five URochester students sharing their internship stories:

• Lemuel Koualao ’28 – Data Analyst Intern within Performance Consulting at JP Morgan Chase (Columbus, OH)
• Jesse Rinzel ’27 – Mortgage Insurance Intern with Essent (Radnor, PA)
• Nathan Carpenter-Holmes ’27, Marketing Research intern with Columbia University (New York, NY)
• Anshika Kothari ’26 MS - Researcher with the URMC Geriatrics Oncology Department (Rochester, NY)
• Maryame Kouram '26 MBA - Data Science and AI Intern with KidsOutandAbout.com (Rochester, NY)

The panel will also include Deb Ross, Publisher and CEO of KidsOutandAbout.com and Mary Smith, Director of Operations with Buffalo Solar, a CoE Internship Partner Organization. A pizza lunch will be provided. After the panel, there will be networking and an ice cream social to kick off the new school year.
