About this Event
417 Alumni Road, Rochester, NY 14611
A wonderful diversity of musical styles will be presented, from Joni Mitchell to a march composed 100 years ago. Guest conductors from Eastman school Jared Wallis, Ted Perry, and Tim Hommowun, and Gregory Savich from the UR Optics department will have turns in front of the ensembles. The concluding work will feature all of the ensembles on a piece titled "Hung Aloft the Night," by Anthony O'Toole, and inspired by the John Keats poem "Bright Star."
