About this Event
755 Library Road, Rochester, NY 14626
Witness to Injustice is a program of Neighbors of the Onondaga Nation and is a unique three-hour interactive group teaching tool. It uses participatory education to foster truth, understanding, and respect between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in the part of the world now known as the United States. It was created in collaboration with KAIROS Blanket Exercise.™ Turtle Island is a reference to what is known as North America, a continent inhabited from time immemorial by Indigenous peoples. The exercise is an interactive effort to share Indigenous history that many Americans may not have been taught in school.
This event is for current University of Rochester students only. Free food and drinks.
Sponsored by River Campus Libraries.
