Eastman School of Music, of the University of Rochester, is excited to host its second “Celebration of Women in Jazz” on Saturday, October 4, 2025. This event will feature concerts and workshops with world-renowned jazz artists and scholars. “It’s an honor to be part of the kind of event I wish had existed when I was starting out,” shares Associate Professor of Jazz Voice Sara Gazarek. “Collaborating with visionary women musicians and composers in this setting is deeply inspiring, but witnessing that spark ignite in so many young artists is beyond words.
