Student groups On Film and Framed are proud to invite acclaimed director Lizzie Borden to Rochester for a series of film screenings and a gallery opening in conversation with her work. On November 21st, we are screening Borden's film Working Girls (1986) in the Gowen Room, Wilson Commons at 5:30 PM. Immediately following the screening, around 7 PM, we will be migrating to the Hartnett Gallery for a panel discussion and the opening of multimedia gallery exhibition Sex/Labor, a show which aims to explore the lived realities and sociopolitical contexts of various forms of sex work. The panel will feature Lizzie Borden as well as photographer Barbara Nitke and multimedia artist Antonia Crane.
