Presenting at conferences can be an important practice for students and scholars, as an opportunity to communicate with an interested audience, get feedback on your work, learn from other presenters, and broaden your academic network. This workshop will discuss how to draft and revise a conference proposal for an individual paper or poster session, including the typical structure, rhetorical style, and approaches for developing a presentation. It will also provide tips for preparing and presenting at a conference, such as how to create a poster, rehearse for a presentation, and communicate with your audience. To join any workshop remotely, please follow this link https://rochester.zoom.us/my/warnerwritingsupport

All workshops are free and open to any member of the community. Preregistration is not required. Workshops are recorded via Zoom; Please contact the WSS coordinator at warnerwritingsupport@warner.rochester.edu for access to the recording.
