While the Yellowjackets take on St. John Fisher on September 20, the University will participate in the GameDay Football Zero Waste Touchdown Challenge. This nationwide competition among colleges and universities aims to challenge campuses to reduce the waste footprint of home games.

Effort has been made to reduce material use and use compostable materials for any disposable items. During the game, Zero Waste Ranger volunteers will be stationed to educate patrons about where to properly dispose of materials.

Volunteers will also be collecting data on the amount composted, recycled, and trashed during the game and will be reported to the nationwide challenge.

Volunteers are needed and will receive free food, a t-shirt, and a small gift. Sign up to participate!
