Frederick Douglass Commons

Connected to Wilson Commons with a bridge together they form our Campus Center. Frederick Douglass Commons also connects to the new Lam Square lounge in Rush Rhees library with a bridge from the third floor public lounge. The Douglass Building is the home of a large multipurpose ballroom, the Paul J. Burgett Intercultural Center, the Language Center, the new Community Kitchen, a public lounge, many meeting rooms, a meditation room, ablution stations, a lactation room, dining options and more.

Talk was very interesting. It could have been much MORE interesting and more easily followable if it hadn't been such a struggle to figure out what part of the projected graphs, figures, etc. speaker was referring to. Perhaps due to oblique angle from podium, or...(?) the pointer was mostly not visible to audience. Too bad speaker had not been instructed to use the mouse pointer that would have been clearly visible and present on both projection screens.
