Center for Energy and Environment

Visit Group Website

Coming up with alternative energy solutions is a complex, global issue that Rochester researchers are addressing from multiple perspectives. Our core research expertise in science, engineering, and medicine forms the foundation for the Center for Energy and Environment.

At the center, we focus on developing carbon-neutral technology, understanding the health implications of energy resources, and investigating the impact of global climate change.

Our goals are two-fold:

  • To better understand the interactions between dynamic earth systems influenced by energy technology
  • To address the human health implications of various energy resources
