Goergen Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

Located in Wegmans Hall, the Goergen Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is home to interdisciplinary data science research and the interdepartmental data science academic programs. The Goergen Institute offers both a BA and BS in data science. Both programs combine computer science, statistics, and a student’s choice of advanced coursework in an application area of data science, including business, biology, earth and environmental science, political science, and others. The institute also offers a year-long graduate program leading to an MS in data science. Students in this program have the option to focus their studies in computational and statistical methods, health and biomedical sciences, or business and social science.
