Institute for Innovative Education

The Institute for Innovative Education (IIE) brings together URMC’s educational leaders to integrate technology and the science of learning into existing educational programming, as well as focus on future institutional efforts that prepare our learners to be healthcare professional leaders of tomorrow. At the heart of this Institute is the development of inter-professional curricula, a state-of-the-art simulation center, and the adoption of new technologies. Advances in clinical and educational technology, coupled with broad national health care reforms, are dramatically changing how practitioners provide patient care.
