University Health Service

The mission of the University Health Service is to improve the health and safety of University of Rochester students and staff. As part of an academic institution, UHS also participates in the education and research missions of the University. Full-time students participate in the Student Health Program, which covers primary care visits to the University Health Service (UHS), a comprehensive initial assessment and an individualized treatment plan at the University Counseling Center (UCC), and health promotion services. Employees and other members of the University community can choose a UHS physician as their primary care provider and come to UHS for their personal health care. UHS also provides occupational health care services for employees. All visits to UHS are confidential. UHS has offices on the River Campus, in the Medical Center, and at the Eastman School of Music.
