The University Events Calendar is powered by Localist and aims to streamline a robust calendar of events across the University for its community and its public audiences. All events added to the event platform are sponsored or hosted by the University; its affiliates and officially sanctioned student organizations.
Anyone with a University NetID may sign in and create an account. In addition, non-University users may also create accounts with social media accounts.
After creating your account, your dashboard shows an overview of your upcoming plans. On the dashboard, you can edit submitted (approved or not yet approved) events.
Users can also modify notifications, update profile photos and privacy settings.
URMC Event Calendar users may navigate to the parent platform at events.rochester.edu. Log in using your NetID. Go to the dashboard and locate your event for editing or locate the event using the mini calendar or the search bar. If you are not the event owner, contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request changes.
All submitted events are reviewed before they are posted. University Communications reserves the right to approve, reject, or make special considerations for any event submitted to the calendar. Please allow up to three business days for your event to be posted.
Browse events by upcoming and filter events by locations, categories, or by adding keywords in the search bar. Keep tabs on specific events you’re interested in, and as a platform user share events with friends and get email reminders, so you don’t forget about attending.
Add events to your personal calendar. On each event, there is an option to save to Outlook, iCal, or Google.
